  • Type: Full Time / Permanent
  • Salary: £34-40K (negotiable)

I’m recruiting an Executive Assistant to support the Chief Executive Officer for an international charity.

This is a great opportunity that will suit an EA with 5+ years’ experience supporting at a senior level. I welcome applications from any sector but international experience is essential as you’ll be required to organise frequent and complex travel arrangements.

The role is predominantly a 1:1 support role but you’ll also take responsibility for organising two large scale events per annum, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure everything runs smoothly. The events involve lots of pre-planning and forward thinking.

Do you enjoy supporting at a senior level?

Do you have a habit of preparing in advance and enjoy being relied on to be two steps ahead?

If you’re a confident and intuitive EA who enjoys tuning in to the needs of the role and the person you’re supporting then I’d love to hear from you:  bev@aumida.com

Primary responsibilities:

  • To act as the first point of contact for all matters concerning the CEO, responding to internal and external enquiries as appropriate.
  • Diary management, ensuring that day to day priorities are met and managed effectively.
  • To co-ordinate the preparation of briefing information for meetings including speaking notes and background materials working with External Relations and Regional Offices to collate these.
  • Providing secretarial and administrative support; drafting/editing correspondence, letters, reports, agendas, meeting notes and action points, etc.
  • Overseeing the administration of meetings, supporting senior staff members and volunteers.
  • Travel arrangements including complex travel itineraries, visas, hotel bookings and expenses.
  • Monitor financial expenditure and check against monthly reports produced by the Finance Team.
  • To build and maintain positive relationships with all members of staff and contacts.

Aumida is committed to promoting equal opportunities, encouraging applications from all members of the community. Candidates are shortlisted based on competencies and ability to do the job.

Unfortunately, due to the high volume of applications, we are only able to respond to the most suitable candidates. Please ensure that you have the relevant skills and experience for the role before you hit apply.
